RICHARD DEDOMENICI
Venerated by Bizarre Magazine and selected for the Beck's Futures show at the ICA, Richard Dedomenici is a one-man subversive think-tank, blurring the distinction between fine art, low-grade civil disobedience and dangerous toy manufacturing since 1978.
His piece "Choc-A-Bloc" (pictured), described as an "inept act of corporate terrorism", involved the continuous feeding of coins into a vending machine, albeit without the removal of any of the purchased confectionery goods. Over the course of the fifty minute performance, he purchased more items from the machine than are normally bought in a week. The public has not yet been forewarned about his exact intentions for Special School.
