Rhodri Marsden has a monumental indie CV extending out from the endearingly jagged Keatons (once chucked off a Blur tour), via the Zuno Men through to Peel favourites Gag. Together with a patchwork of musicians from bands including Spearmint and Scaramanga 6, he is/am/are them that is known as
the Free French.
Following an ace review in the NME describing them as "highly promising pop scamps" and their single as "a gushing power pop paean", the Free French will be launching their album "Running on Batteries" (hitBACK Records) at Special School.
